Position Title: Google Web Toolkit (GWT) Developer (ID: TS095)
Location: Toronto, Ontario
We are currently seeking two junior developers or recent graduates from Computer Science or a related discipline to join the Template Applications development team.
As part of the dynamic Applications development team you will have significant opportunity to contribute to CaseWare’s market leading role while working with a variety of technologies in developing new product features.
You are responsible for:

Using bug tracking software to assess and plan your development tasks.

Using source control and the latest development environments to perform your development tasks.

Ensuring that your code is of good quality, solid design and meets requirements.
-
Assisting Technical support and Quality Assurance with product related issues.
-
Maintaining existing code by resolving problems identified by Technical support or Quality Assurance.

Producing clearly written and concise design and architecture documentation for use as a basis for Technical Writing and Sales related documents.

Providing accurate time estimates and meeting scheduled deadlines.
You possess:

A love of user interface design and development.
-
Strong interest in usability, user experience and workflow.

Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with developers and outside groups.

Willingness to participate in meetings and contribute to the overall process.

Experience with the Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
-
Experience with Java development using Eclipse.
-
Knowledge of JavaScript, classic ASP, and popular AJAX frameworks.

Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete assigned tasks as scheduled.

Proven analytical, design and planning skills.

Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Qualified candidates will be required to sit a test. The test is 1 1/2 hours and covers basic programming theory. The test is part of our interview process and an interview may be done immediately after.
